Welcome to Renzulli Learning’s Spotlight on Sources, some of our most engaging resources to excite and inspire your students!
Did you know Renzulli Learning is partnered with Future Problem Solving Program International to bring you FPS Projects? Future Scenes are a fun way for students to collaborate and solve real-world problems through their six-step problem solving process which strengthens students’ critical and creative thinking, problem solving, and decision making!
From your Teacher Dashboard, click Teach, and then select Future Problem Solving. Before you begin, make sure to check out the Getting Started video on the Welcome Screen! Then head on over to the Future Scene List to check out our FREE Future Scenes. From there you can create your FPS Groups and assign Future Scenes to your students. Assign these Future Scenes to a group of students to complete the steps necessary to come up with solutions to the problems! Students can research these topics in Renzulli Learning too!

Future Problem Solvers must analyze the energy issues within this unique ecosystem, then develop an Action Plan that details how to utilize biomimicry energy development within the restrictive environment of the Galapagos.
Recovering from Natural Disasters
In the year 2045, world leaders are gathering to tour a habitat on Antarctica for refugees. Future Problem Solvers need to read the future scene and then analyze the situation to meet the needs of the refugees at Haven-1.
Criminal Justice Systems
In the year 2039, town hall minutes provide a platform where the agenda focuses on the Safe Street Initiative and criminal justice reform. Future Problem Solvers need to determine how to best gain the support of the community!
